The ongoing festival that takes place in cities like Shillong, Hyderabad and Pune, has been topping the charts year after year with an increasing number of registrations and mindboggling performances by renowned artists. So far this year, the festival has charmed us with its aura in the biryani hub, Hyderabad and the rock capital, Shillong, with the finale scheduled at Pune. 5-6th November made space for Hyderabad to rock and roll to the beat and the dhol. Hyderabad witnessed this grand monochrome structure that welcomed the audience in style and created fashion news. With it’s amazing first edition, the weekender definitely promised to be awesome, boasting of a great lineup that included Spud in the Box, Indian Ocean, Fossils, Black Letters, The Raghu Dixit Project and a lot more.

The stage was set on fire (not literally) with a number of celebrities winning the crowd over with their compositions and fantastic beats. We saw faces like Ankur Tiwari, Amit Trivedi, Anoushka Shankar, Saba Sultana Asad-Imaad Shah, Vir Das etc. Well, it’s been five years since the weekender kick started and watching these celebs being a part of it with their quirky skills and uber-cool latest fashion trends made this edition one to remember.

What’s a music show without some placards. The audience went doolally over the performances of their favorite artists, creating a vibe of enthusiasm and vibrancy in the live show.
