Nowadays, we see a growth in Bollywood icons trying to multi-task with their career options. Directors are turning into actors, actors into producers and so on.

This trend has been followed by many well-known faces of the industry. Some have achieved success in this juggle, and some have lost their careers entirely. Let's have a look at some of the famous Bollywood icons who have made the transition in a fluid fashion:

Priyanka Chopra

This Bollywood fashion trendsetter has crooned her way to the top of the pecking order. Like her music or not, there's no ignoring her. From being the Kashibai of Bollywood to the Dil Dhadkne Do playback singer, she has done it all. Not just Bollywood, this girl in my city is going exotic, all the way to Quantico.  

Alia Bhatt

Not only has she proved that she can knock our socks off with her acting, she's also had a singing debut with none other than Oscar winner, Mr. A.R Rahman. This young actress has a lovely voice (the face is lovely too, but let’s stick to the priority here) and clearly a whole lot of film options.

Amitabh Bachchan

A legend, actor and singer: what more do we need in Bollywood? The veteran has acted in some roaring hits, but he hasn't failed to charm us with his voice. He has sung playback for movies like Silsila, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Ghum, Bhagban, Babul etc. *Sigh* If only all men had that incredible baritone.

Farhan Akhtar

The man who can do anything, Mr. Akhtar. Calling him a multi-tasker is somewhat of an understatement. This rock star extraordinaire has left no page unturned when it comes to trying his hand at different things. Singing, acting, film making, lyrics-writing: he is one of the few who in his fluid manner kills it in so many fields. So much to envy, so little time.

Shraddha Kapoor

The upcoming Rock On 2 actor also sets the stage on fire with her soothing yet hard-hitting voice. From Ek Villain to Baaghi, she managed and impress her fans with both her acting and singing. Within a short span of time, this Kapoor girl has figured out how to change roles in a fluid fashion.

Farah Khan  

Tees Maar Khan might have gone down the drain, but with Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year in her kitty, this choreographer-turned-reality show judge has made a successful transition to director. With her debut in 'Shirin Farad Ki Toh Nikal Padi', she can now add actor to her long résumé.

Shah Rukh Khan 

SRK, 'naam toh suna hi hoga?’. He has been a constant feature in the list of the top 10 richest actors. Apart from belting out hits in a fluid fashion, he also owns production houses both for movies and television. With so many ventures (including owning a cricket team!), the king of Bollywood can be considered a successful businessman as well.
