Light colours are the most versatile of colours. Pastel shades can be worn for day or even for night; whereas if you look at black and midnight blue, they are more evening appropriate. These understated colours are like the underdogs of the fashion world or like Leonardo DiCaprio- always appreciated but never awarded. We have nothing against floral prints or bird prints or bright eye hurting colours, but there is something so soothing about pastel shades that you really cannot stop appreciating.

Sure these might not be the first shades which pop into your mind when you get that garden party invitation, but they are the best options. Peach is one such shade to opt for when in doubt. Think of it like the ‘black’ of the season.
